Touadéra in Boyong

It may seem trivial, but it speaks volumes: we are in Boyong, or more precisely in the Bocaranga 1 constituency. Touadéra went there to inaugurate, with great fanfare, the only building with three classrooms; but this served as a pretext for him to urge people not to vote for Dologuele, who has been the MP for this constituency for 10 years and is campaigning there for re-election. It should be noted that this pretext cost a mere 16 million CFA francs, including contributions from Dologuele and Ziguele. Given the value of the CFA franc! By comparison, Touadéra’s fuss will have cost the Central African taxpayer no less than 150 million. It should be noted that this was Touadéra’s very first trip to the hinterland since his inauguration, and thus the very first project of his 7th Republic, of which we understand nothing, apart from his verbal agitation.
