One master replaces another.

Bangui has changed a lot since Touadéra, without consulting anyone, decided to bring in the Russians, and the good-natured Central Africans said nothing. They'd make those people swallow a load of nonsense. Anyway, since Russia's presence in Bangui, it's been doing two things: "soft power," gentle propaganda on the one hand, and "hard power" on the other, harsh propaganda, with mercenaries, appeals to the press, Russian specialists—yeah, right! And since then, the Russians have been doing everything to make people forget the signs of the French presence, of which the Central African Republic was once the sphere of influence: a Russian house, parties here, competitions there, advertorials in the press disguised as articles—soon, a red-light district in Bangui? The royal era of the French Cultural Center is over; long live the Russian house! It's as if this potentially rich, but poorly managed, country still needs a master over its head. And we're surprised to see people leave and never come back. Why would they come back? To earn 100 euros a month (when they're paid at all), and endure the decadent drivel of the polygamist. Touadéra, apparently the people have made their choice, and we only stay put if we have no other option.
